赵萌萌

Dr Sarah Zhao is a dedicated scholar, educator, and practitioner with over 15 years of experience in strategic communication, focusing on corporate branding, crisis management, sustainability, and ESG communication.

 

She has been teaching at universities in Hong Kong for more than eight years, designing and delivering courses at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels, covering topics such as corporate communication, marketing research, campaign management and media studies. She currently teaches Applied Communication Research and Public Relations and Globalisation in the Master's Programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

 

Prior to her academic career, Dr Zhao worked at a leading PR agency, providing strategic communications counsel, managing brand reputation, and leading media relations efforts for multinational clients in various industries. Her practical experience, combined with her academic expertise, enables her to bridge the gap between theory and practice, offering clients evidence-based solutions to their communication challenges.

 

An accomplished translator, Dr Zhao has collaborated with The New York Times and Bloomberg BusinessWeek for over a decade. She has translated seven bestselling books on branding, advertising, and management, including the Chinese version of Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs.

 

Dr Zhao holds a PhD in Communication and a M.A. in Global Communication from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
