Richard Tsang founded Strategic Public Relations Group (“SPRG”) in 1995. Through his guidance and foresight, SPRG is among the largest integrated PR networks in the Asia Pacific.
Determined to also make a difference in the PR industry and the community, Richard holds over 80 board, committee and advisory positions in over 40 business, religious, education, governmental and non-governmental organisations, even becoming the first Asian to chair Public Relations Organisation International (“PROI Worldwide”), the world’s largest network of independent communications agencies.
He is also a true philanthropist as reflected by the establishment of Strategic CSR Network Limited, a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to linking different parties to serve underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.
Consequently, Richard has received 25 awards for his professional and personal accomplishments, and has been regularly selected for various honours, including inclusion in The Most Influential Professionals and Global Power Book rankings.
As an avid supporter of education, Richard has been a part-time lecturer at the School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, since 1994. He is also an Adjunct Professor of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and an advisor to the communication schools of other universities and institutions.
